With spring comes graduation and the end of another school year, but it also marks the beginning of the Berkeley Haas MFE journey for incoming students. The MFE Program recently welcomed the entering 2022 students, who bolster an impressive set of backgrounds and achievements. With 32% of the class identifying as female, and students hailing from 17 different countries, this cohort is one of the most diverse in program history.  Here's a snapshot of the entering 2022 students:

Just a few weeks into the program, two groups of MFE students won the Citadel Data Open West Coast Regional Datathon with the teams taking 1st and 2nd place respectively. The students were able to jump into the Citadel Data Open competition right off the bat because of the months of preparation provided by the admissions team and dedicated alumni who held a preparatory session. The success of these students is a great start to the academic year, it will be exciting to see them flourish and what else they can accomplish in the upcoming year.
