The Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program will provide the education you need to excel in business, and the Career Management Group will guide you along the way. Pat DeMasters is the Director of the Career Management Group and her podcast on career opportunities highlights the resources available to you as a EWMBA student.
What makes Career Management at Berkeley-Haas unique is the level of intimacy they create with students. They appreciate your unique story and will work with you to help craft your unique path. In order to effectively provide career advice and resources, DeMasters explains that the Berkeley MBA program evaluates your personality and skill sets through assessments such as Career Leader of Skill Scan. Whether you are hoping to progress in your career, switch careers, or start your own business, this is a time to thoroughly reflect on your goals and your next steps.
The Career Management Group is accessible year-round for individual face-to-face and phone meetings. Experienced job coaches facilitate active job search groups throughout the year. Partner companies, alumni, and students post job openings to a vast online job database. With on-campus recruiting, career fairs twice per year, workshops during evenings and weekends, lunchtime webinars, networking events, and more, career resources are never far away.
In addition, students in the program are working professionals who represent over 400 companies. As a EWMBA student, you are sure to be presented with many new opportunities simply by interacting with your classmates.
