EWMBA Curriculum Changes & Elimination of Statistics Prerequisite

We've made some changes to the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program curriculum which give you easier access to the knowledge that can strengthen your management skills.

Extended Core, No Statistics Prerequisite

Our students have told us they need a little more time to absorb the deep foundational material of our core mba curriculum. They’ve told us they need slightly more manageable course loads during that core. Done and done.

We’ve extended delivery of the core curriculum from two semesters to three. And, that core now includes statistics (our Data & Decisions course). Translation: No more stats prerequisite and no added time to complete the program.

Experiential Learning that Fits into Your Life

Hands-on learning is integral to the Berkeley MBA experience, but finding time to practice any new skill can be challenging. Our new Applied Innovation course makes it easier.

In this course, students will apply their growing leadership and problem-framing skills to real-life projects, culminating in an Innovation Challenge during our Mid Program Academic Retreat.

If your schedule allows for international consulting work, independent entrepreneurship projects, and the like, you will find those opportunities as well.

Intrigued by these changes? If so, there's still time to apply for fall 2014! Our Round 3 application deadline is March 20.
