Quick plug for the Haas Student Ambassador blog, where we are posting some "Day in the Life" experiences of the HSAs and other classmates. Check out my long but fun/rewarding day today!
Also, a plug for the ">play Conference", the largest conference at Haas for lovers of digital media and entertainment. If you're in the neighborhood and love tech stuff, you HAVE TO attend this conference.
Now in its fifth year, >play is a unique event that mixes creative professionals, industry leaders, and students to discuss the emergence and implications of the digital lifestyle. Last year’s conference drew over 400 professionals and 100 students to the Haas campus.
This year, the conference will expand to include fresh and exciting discussions with multiple themed tracks where we provide a series of panels and speakers for each of those interested in Mobile & Cloud, Media & Entertainment and Identity & Innovation. Speakers already confirmed include Mozilla CEO John Lilly, Google VP of Products Bradley Horowitz and EA Sports President Peter Moore.
The conference, which runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., will also give students the chance to network with industry leaders and offer a sneak peak at the latest gadgets at an interactive expo.
For more information on the event, how to purchase tickets, and the full lineup of speakers as it is announced, please visit http://playconference.org.
Alright, hope to see some of you at the conference!
