Our application cycle is long, and we often begin working with students a year or more before they come to Berkeley to start the program.  We believe that there is always time for our students to prepare for the program before they join us, and we work one-on-one with each candidate to make sure he or she is exceptionally well-prepared for the program and the financial industry.  In addition to that, we maintain contact with our students through online sessions with our executive director, Linda Kreitzman, and the MFE staff during which we answer students’ questions about life in the MFE Program.  Linda Kreitzman and Stefanie Montevirgen, our new senior associate director have teamed up to give incoming students a sense for their options for internships and full-time positions.  Together Kreitzman and Montevirgen bring 20 years of experience and expertise dealing exclusively with the financial industry in the world at large.
